 When The World's On Fire

Edited Sunset.jpg

From the first note of the first song, Flood The Stone creates a sacred space to experience the presence of God. With a high level of musicianship, stunning melodies, and hearts focused on authenticity, Flood The Stone draws people into a worship experience that is unforgettable. The band is comprised of Roger Angove, bass player, from New Zealand, Adam Breitkreuz, drummer, from Saskatchewan, Steven Fazakerley, frontman, from Washington, and Graham Sharkey, lead guitarist, from Alberta. Each band member brings their own musicianship, experience and unique voice for worship to the band, allowing for nuance and depth in each concert.

Flood The Stone has toured extensively in North America and all throughout New Zealand. They have received 6 CGMA nominations and 1 CGMA award. They recently won the Indie Artist Competition at CreationFest and came in second in the National CFA Competition. In 2015, FTS released “When the World’s On Fire”, produced by Phil Joel from Newsboys and Zealand as well as Philip Zach of Remedy Drive. They are currently working on material for a new album to be recorded in 2016.

The name Flood The Stone comes from a deep heart cry: “God, flood our hard hearts with Your Presence. Flood our land that we may be revived.”

FTS top 3 in National CFA indie competition

FTS joined many other indie bands across the U.S. this summer in the CFA's 2015 talent search. Creation Northwest was one of their festival stops so joining in the competition was only natural. While performing at Praise Fest up in Surrey B.C. they found out they were named the winners back in Tri-Cities WA at Creation, and thus moved on to be judged by the national panel. They came in second and received a nice recommendation from the CFA for the upcoming 2016 festival season.
